CarBuddii is the first to introduce MitID validation on test drive tickets - a new security standard for the automotive industry.
CarBuddii is the first in Denmark to launch a solution that integrates MitID validation into driving licences for test drives. This feature increases security and ensures that the customer is correctly identified, reducing the risk of theft and other liability issues. The solution enables car dealers to offer an efficient and secure test drive directly in-store.

The solution has already been launched for rental, so workshops and car dealerships with a rental fleet can safely and easily handle rentals outside normal business hours. Learn more about MitID for rental agreements.
A defence against theft
Theft poses a significant risk for car dealers who may end up being financially liable for customers' actions during test drives. CarBuddii's solution validates the customer's identity via a combination of a valid driving licence and MitID, while also obtaining a digital signature on a sworn declaration of liability. This ensures that the dealer has proof of the customer's liability.
